About Five Chapters
FiveChapters, one of the pioneer online literary journals, has published a new short story every week since October 2006. A new story begins every Monday, serial-style, with a new installment on each weekday.
FiveChapters authors have won the Pulitzer Prize, the National Book Award, the PEN/Faulkner and many other top literary prizes. Stories published on the site have been recognized by several editions of Best American stories and won special recognition from the Pushcart Prizes.
FiveChapters Books published the debut story collection by Emma Straub and the second collection by Jess Row, both in February 2011. In November 2013, FC Books published debut collections by Nina McConigley and Ian Stansel.
