Brininstool, Andrew

Andrew Brininstool’s work has appeared or is forthcoming in Barrelhouse, Hobart, New South, Quick Fiction, the Tin House blog, Best New American Voices 2010 and has received both the Sherwood Anderson Fiction Award from Mid-American Review and the Editors’ Prize from /nor. An interview he conducted with Barry Hannah was first published in Gulf Coast and reprinted in the Readings section of Harper’s.

A graduate of the MFA Program at the University of Houston, he now serves as an assistant professor of creative writing at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas.
