Brendan Mathews has published stories in VQR, Epoch, TriQuarterly, Cincinnati Review and other journals.
One of his stories appeared in Best American Short Stories 2010, and was featured on NPR’s “All Things Considered.” Two others were listed among the notables in Best American Short Stories 2008.
He received his MFA from the University of Virginia, and currently teaches at Bard College at Simon’s Rock. He lives in western Massachusetts with his wife and their four children.
