Walter, Jess

Jess Walter is the author of the novel “The Zero,” a finalist for the 2006 National Book Award, and “Citizen Vince,” winner of the 2005 Edgar Allen Poe award for best novel.

He is also the author of the novels “Land of the Blind” and “Over Tumbled Graves,” as well as a work of non-fiction, “Ruby Ridge: The Truth and Tragedy of the Randy Weaver Family.”

Among his work is a New York Times notable book and one of the Washington Post’s best books of the year. His work has been translated in 15 languages. He lives in Spokane, Washington with his family.
