Amy Shearn is the author of the novel “How Far Is the Ocean From Here” (Shaye Areheart).

Born in Evanston, Illinois, Amy was educated in New Mexico, Chicago, Iowa and Minneapolis, where she received her MFA in fiction writing from the University of Minnesota.
