Jon Raymond is the author of the novel “The Half-Life” and a story collection, “Livability.”
The film “Old Joy,” directed by Kelly Reichardt, was based on one of Raymond’s stories. Raymond and Reichardt also co-wrote her new film, “Wendy and Lisa.”

He lives in Portland, Oregon.
