Keith Lee Morris is the author of the novel “The Dart League King” (Tin House).
His other books include a novel, “The Greyhound God,” and a story collection, “The Best Seats in the House.”
The Believer praised Morris as the “heir to the Richard Ford of ‘Rock Springs;’ he has that rare gift of writing truthfully about people we know and care for: the commoners who are forced to make their own luck in life, confused fathers and sons coming to terms with each other, blue-collar husbands and wives trying to hold on to what remains.
His stories have also appeared in A Public Space, Southern Review, Ninth Letter, StoryQuarterly, New England Review, The Sun and the Georgia Review.
Morris is an associate professor of English and creative writing at Clemson University in South Carolina.
