Ellen Litman is the author of “The Last Chicken in America: A Novel in Stories” (W.W. Norton).
Litman, who grew up in Moscow and lived there until 1992, earned her MFA in creative writing at Syracuse. Her stories have been published in Tin House, Best New American Voices 2007 and Ploughshares.
She teaches creative writing at the University of Connecticut.
