Marshall Klimasewiski is the author of the new story collection “Tyrants” (W.W. Norton) and a novel, “The Cottagers.”
Esquire called “The Cottagers” “wise to human foibles, rich with precise and amusing observations.” The Los Angeles Times described it as a “remarkable debut,” and the New York Times praised it as “a complex, intelligent novel.”
His stories have appeared in the New Yorker, the Atlantic and the Best American Short Stories.
Klimasewiski lives in St. Louis and teaches creative writing at Washington University.
