Noria Jablonski is the author of the story collection “Human Oddities.”
“Some books of short stories are more than mere collections: they are their own worlds,” praised Elizabeth McCracken. “ Noria Jablonski’s ‘Human Oddities’ is a strange, beautiful, terrible, slant-wise world, full of the human tenderness that is brought on by both love and violence. These are beautifully written stories by an author who understands that the odd is no more unlikely or unlovable than the “normal.”
Her stories have appeared in Swink, Monkeybicycle, KGB Bar Lit, and the anthology “Who Can Save Us Now?: Brand-New Superheroes and Their Amazing (Short) Stories.”
Jablonski teaches at UC Santa Cruz and was a 2007 Artist in Residence at Headlands Center for the Arts in Sausalito, California.
