Michael Idov is the author of the new novel “Ground Up” (FSG), which Gary Shteyngart called “charming, manic and delicious” and Elinor Lipman praised as “brilliantly funny … there’s talent here of the Nabokovian kind.”
Idov is a staff writer at New York magazine who also writes for several major Moscow publications. For nine months, he co-owned a New York cafe that partly inspired “Ground Up.”
