Paul Griner is the author of the new novel “The German Woman,” as well as the novel “Collectors” and a story collection, “Follow Me.”

Vogue named “The German Woman” one of the top-ten summer books of 2009, and Kirkus praised it as “complex, authentic, compelling.”

The Seattle Times raved that “Collectors” was “superb … psychologically erudite, stylistically cool and impeccable.”

“Follow Me” was a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers Pick. Tobias Wolff called it “one of the most vivid, distinctive collections that [he had] read in years.”

His short stories have appeared in Zoetrope, Playboy, Ploughshares, Glimmer Train and Pindeldyzboz among other publications.

Griner chairs the creative writing department at the University of Louisville.
